Viximo has been an aggressive early adopter of new technology. They were one of the earliest adopters of Amazon's Web Services and today manage numerous stacks across a cluster of over 150 instances. The core stack is built in JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Memcache, and MySQL, but specialty services utilize a wide array of technologies including Backbone.js, Redis, ZooKeeper, Chef, Vertica, and Tableau, just to name a few. Furthermore, in the very near future, they will be unveiling a whole new offering to mobile game developers. In the end, technology matters, but the real goal is getting a great product into our partner and customers hands.
Viximo was originally conceived and incubated at the coworking space Betahouse and carries those same traditions of collaboration and community forward today. Over the past few years, they have shared excess office space with several early stage Boston startups and currently co-work with Better Lesson and StarStreet. The space is open and collaborative with regular casual cross-company discussions.

The team is full of entrepreneurs, many of whom have side projects or are actively engaged in the local community. Co-Founder Sean Lindsay, a veteran of 5 prior Boston startups, is creator of the entrepreneurial mentoring program Founder Mentors and an advisor to several high profile Boston companies.
